Downtown Eastside










This pawn shop's neon sign has become a landmark for the area. Is there anything easier to remember than the large 77?

Pigeon Park! Oh gawd, I went past that area eight years ago with a group of people, and ooowee.. did the area ever smell foul. Needless to say, after all those years, I haven't gone back, and I don't plan on it unless there's going to be a major redevelopment of the area.

Pretty sad, eh?

The redevelopment is coming in form of the Woodward's Building project and the push to provide accommodation for the 2010 Olympics visitors.
