Barking

The smaller the dog the more it tends to bark. This one is no exception.

Touching up?

A little touching up? Something to do while waiting for the skytrain to arrive. Must admit it is better than stand and read the billboards.

Shark's fin

Was very surprised to see these shark's fins on display.Thought they are on the banned list. Follow is a video on Youtube showing a woman in Hong Kong who missed her shark's fin soup. The message at the end of the video seems to indicate the entire episode is staged. What do you think?

New train

Caught the new addition to the Expo and Millennium Lines again the other day. It is less crowded and had a bit more time to take a photo of the exterior.

Plastic bags

This trail of unwound plastic bags by the fruit stands has a kind of gracefulness as it flows over the apples.

Still on

The ambulance paramedics have been on strike since April. They have ensured that there is no disruption of services which may explain the lack of urgency on the Gordon Campbell Government to settle. The last contract expired more than 2 years ago.

Who lost this?

I'm almost 100% sure that who ever left this there didn't have need for it in the first place. I mean how did he/she able to walk away without ir?

Canada Line - riders

What struck me after a quick tour of the Canada Line is how short the platforms are. Don't know whether they can run a 4-cart train or not. If not then next February they may have problem handling the crowd on the day after the Olympics closes.

The true story on Monday was the people, those who lined up and waited.
