Westcoast art

I first saw two logs near the front entrance to a local high school a few months. The area is under the cover. Slowly barks were striped off and began to take form. Went by there yesterday and so happened the artist, Jackie Timothy, was there and we started a conversation. He graciously allowed me to take these photos.

Central Valley Greenway

The Central Valley Greenway, a bicycle route linking Vancouver, Burnaby and New Westminister, officially opened yesterday. These are photos of and from the overhead bridge on Sperling and Winston.

100 mile diet

We're over at Garden Works on Saturday looking for tomato plants and came across this sign. If we limit our food exclusively to tomatoes we grow then adhering to the 100-mile diet is a piece of cake.
