Located right across the street from Vancouver City Hall and along one of the city's busiest thoroughfare with a good mixture of office and residential buildings within walking distance. Yet it had a very difficult time finding and retaining tenants.

I've never ventured to the sides of the mall before, so seeing that photo of the stairs and doorway of that older building is like discovering something new about the city you live in, and boy are there plenty of them around. If I remember correctly Chuck Davis' book on Vancouver mentions some secrets.
That part is kind of out of the way with most people using the 12th Ave or Ash Street entrances.
