Windshield service

Went and fill at an Esso station today. While there thinking it would be a good idea to clean the windshields, front and back, of the salt and chemicals they used on the road. Surprise, surprise! They had removed the squeegees and the containers were emptied. The only reason that I could think of is they don't want to bother with addictive to keep the water from freezing during the recent cold spell. Service indeed!Es
