>

Yesterday the Head Tax Families Society Of Canada held its third annual rally and walk around Chinatown. Attended the rally were Libby Davies, NDP MP and the guest speaker, Ujjal Singh Dosanjh, Liberal MP, Don Davies, NDP candidate for Vancouver Kingsway, Wendy Yuan, Liberal candidate for Vancouver Kingsway, and Raymond Louie, Vancouver City alderman who initially declined but showed up anyway. One noticeable absentee is Jenny Kwan, MLA for Vancouver-Little Mountain.

Oh. Did you know it was happening, or did you just happen to be in Chinatown at the right moment?

Man alive, I haven't been to Chinatown in AGES. But that's what happens when you're a "banana." *snerk* =Þ

I knew well in advance since this is an annual affair.

Years ago we used to go to Chinatown weekly for produce and dried good. Of course, there was the dimsum lunch before the shopping.
