Years ago we had big department stores selling everything from clothing to prescription drugs, from cosmetics to washers and dryers, from toys to hair salon. It was such easier to name items they didn't sell than those they did sell. Then came the specialty shops which clawed a good chunk of business from the departments stores who weren't as nimble with longer reaction time to shifting market trends and consumer tastes.
As the years go by some of these specialty shops are trying to offer their customers an one stop solution. In other word, the department store concept. They aren't as big nor as well stocked as the department stores but, nonetheless, a step at that direction.
is this hair styling shop for the knee stumps a step backward or new concept in retailing?
