Condo

The major problem with today's highrises is that with the exception of the high profile ones most have a sameness to them. Very difficult to differentiate one residential highrise from another.

New Mac

The McDonald's of today look so different from those of by gone days. They no longer have play areas but comfortable sofa and HDTV.

Fare checks

This is a scene we don't see too often, where they check fares on both sides of a Skytrain station.

Saw these asparagus at Superstore a few days ago. Whoever serves asparagus at this time of the year certainly is not following the 100 mile diet.

Fashion show

Dropped by the mall today and unexpectedly saw this fashion show.

Canada Line

Was down at Richmond yesterday and saw more or less where the line splits into two with one heading to the airport and the other travels along No. 3 Road. Thought photos may not be the best mean of showing this split.

Sun Yat-sen Garden

A September afternoon in the Sun Yat-sen Garden. The Koi had grown over the summer months. The turtles are doing well also.

Missing the concept?

I know they can't ride their bike while inside the Skytrain stations. As a rule they would push their bikes along. Must admit this is not a bad way to train his upper body also.

California Sushi

Pass by this strip mall one morning and saw these boxes there. Being a noisy busy body I went over to have a closer look. They seemed to be seafood containers. Let's hope these containers were empty. Can't imagine seafood sitting out in the parking lot unattended over-night.

Parking ticket

Just noticed this pickup has a company logo on its side. If the owner had gotten a commercial vehicle license then he would've spared himself of this parking ticket. A parking ticket or two pretty well pay for the extra cost of a commercial vehicle license.
