i cafe
Despite its name this is not an internet cafe at all. It is just a regular restaurant which caters to the young Oriental crowd. Richmond has a similarly misnamed eatery by the name e canteen.
I guess this place isn't so bad for a Hong Kong style restaurant. It sure beats that *barf* Hotel California restaurant in Richmond. I've never been to e canteen before, but the name is ultra lame.
Okay, so I guess I was a little enthusiastic when I was reading the offical PDF file on restaurant closures, and didn't really check their status fully. They were finally reopened sometime in early April. Fortunately, most of my favourite restaurants are not on the list.
All photos are taken with the HTC Touch. This all about cellphone photography. The only editing you'll see is cropping. None has been touched by Photoshop.

California? No memory of the food. Only the lack of privacy, rubbing elbows with the people on the next table, really stuck in my mind.
Well, we're both in luck. I just read the PDF file on restaurant closures for this year, and California's on that list. Heh. Heh. Heh.
It was just a slap on the wrist. Haven't heard of them shutting any place permanently yet.

Two that I go to now and then made the list. Just make sure not to order anything that requires no cooking such as salad, cold cuts or sushi.
