CBC completed its expansion and held an open house on Friday, Dec 4. I happened to be at that part of town and decided to drop by. These are some of the shots of the new addition which houses the news operation which includes the huge open space for reporters, writers, web designers and the news studios.

There used to be a lot of food demos at supermarkets. Of course, it was nothing like Costco where a person could have lunch just sampling various demos. Anyway two were at Safeway the other day. This is a cream substitute.
Would I buy it? No, because it is a sweetener also and I haven't used sugar in coffee for more years than I can remember.
This is a bench not far from the door of a Tim Horton's. It generally is occupied by smokers. In the ween morning hour, 3:30, it was empty for a chamge. Kind of blurry due to the low light and the camera's slow shutter.
After weeks of rain many people took advantage of the dry spell over the weekend and put up outdoor Christmas ornaments. This house left theirs on all night and I snapped this on Monday morning.
