We went and had our H1N1 flu shots this morning. We arrived about an hour after the clinic opened. There was no lineup. Consequently we spent most of our time there sitting in the recovery area.
In the past few years every Christmas each mall seemed to have one of these stores that sell fiber optic Christmas trees. The light from these trees are so low and dim that the showroom is in almost total darkness. Very surprise that it is so bright in this photo.
A cruise drove into the parking and slowly came to a stop in the middle of the lane with lights flashing. Then another one showed up from the opposite direction. Both weren't in any hurry as each took their time getting out of their respective vehicle. After snapped this photo and a short video I moved along. So had no idea why they were there.
It seems the Dollar Giant discount stores need to undergo a name change because this flash light and all other items are now $1.25. May be the price increase is limited to just that particular store.
This may be one of the narrowest elevator door anywhere. After a search, the button on the wall would give it away. Enough people must have missed it in order for them to paint the word "Elevator" on the door.
My impression is McDonald's gives out refills. This impression had been correct until I visited this McDonald's in Richmond Centre. The girl there said they are just different.
Saw the flashing lights from a distance. Initial reaction was a b&e at the mall on the street corner. As it turned out it was 3 cruisers boxed a car in between the first and second. Didn't see the driver in the car. Could be inside one of the cruisers. The RCMP did held a conference by the side of the first patrol car.
This piece of property had been designated for public park purposes. For years it had a dense growth of trees with a trail or footpath that local residents used as a short cut. The city now deemed the surrounding population has reached critical mass to warrant a park. The first step was to thin out the trees. Then widen and put gravel on the trail. Finally blacktop.
Was at Lougheed Mall the other day. Didn't realized how hi-tech it has become until saw this. Apparently the elevator wall where this is on is clickable. No, didn't tested it. May be next time.
She was at T&T's Chinatown store. At the time she was chopping up a barbecue duck. One of the servers at the hot food section asked her a question and she looked over.
What caught my attention about this vanity plate is the colour, red on pink. A closer look disclosed it is from Alberta. Haven't seen one like this before.
I think certain area of the mall has WiFi but don't think he was inside one the coverage areas. If he isn't surfing wonder what is so important that can't till he get back to the office?
Recently this neat shop opened at Metrotown. According to one of the workers they have a few other stores in BC with the nearest at Gilford Mall. Besides the variety of tea they also have some unusual shaped tea pots.
All photos are taken with the HTC Touch. This all about cellphone photography. The only editing you'll see is cropping. None has been touched by Photoshop.
