Spotted her sweeping from the other side of the street. Fortunately traffic light enough for me to dash partially across the street to take this.

Was surprised to see this Korean-Japanese restaurant all boarded up. First thought was another victim of the current economic downturn. Then the nose picked up the distinctive smell of burnt wood. The disclosed charred window and roof confirmed that indeed there was a recent fire.

Temporary operation?

The displays say this is a clothing store but the sign gives the prices for breakfast and lunch meals. Does this say anything about the owner's intention?

Business is slow

Was at this Richmond restaurant the other day for lunch. It is located in the city's restaurant row. This place wasn't busy. For the owner's sake hope we caught it on an off day.

Was at Chinatown the other day. I parked on the south side of Pender. Looking across the street I noticed the noodle restaurant has gone out of business. Immediately realized I never knew of that restaurant's existence. Guess it has been at least a year since I had ventured onto this section of Pender where we used to go and shop every weekend. Time sure has changed.

June bride
