Messy

Is it my faulty memory or people are getting messy? It seems they no longer look after themselves in public places. More and more just leave their trays with eaten food on food court tables instead of disposing them in the garbage bins.

I think maybe it's not due to some people being messy but more like being lazy. If you know a worker's going to eventually put the trays back, you will just leave your tray wherever you were eating at for them to pick up.

Not me, though! I always automatically put the tray back.

Or put a spin on it that this is a mean of creating. If everybody cleans up after themselves then the mall wouldn't need to hire the cleaners.
